Gallop View Stables and Lodge is a tranquil stables and holiday lodge set in the idyllic village of Failand, just ten minutes from the heart of Bristol.

You will be made very welcome here whatever your reason for wanting to stay in this area: weekend break, business, retreat, visiting relatives, or exploring some of the many attractions of the West Country.

Guests in the lodge can enjoy the peace, green countryside and stunning views, and also meet all the animals.  The hens will need their eggs collecting in the morning for the freshest of breakfasts, and the goats will entertain with their cheeky demands for food.  The horses will be working and of course the stables will need clearning out and the feed preparing.  Families staying in the lodge can also book riding lessons (subject to availability).  Read the reviews here to find out about the wonderful time families and other groups have had.

The stables are privately run by TJ who has been riding all her life.  She specialises in the provision of private tuition for adults and children at all levels, whether a total beginner or an experienced rider with their own pony or horse.  Alongside the private lessons, TJ also provides the opportunity to go out on accompanied hacks in the surrounding countryside, to head to the coast for beach rides and to take part in local cross country, show jumping and dressage competitions. Special days are also catered for, whether it is a birthday party with a pony theme or a child who deserves some special time with the animals and some friends - Gallop View offers an outdoors experience in a tranquil countryside location that your child won't forget.

Our aim is provide a safe and fun learning environment for people and horses.  Each lesson is taught with a sympathetic approach and bucket loads of energy.
